Mortuary Services was established in 1995 by Mr Dorian Harries in order to provide a specialist hygienic treatment and post-trauma facial reconstruction service to Funeral Directors within the South West Wales area. Dorian is a highly qualified Embalmer and widely respected for his contribution to the Funeral and Embalming industry. More about Dorian Harries.

At Mortuary Services we understand the sensitivities surrounding a death in the family which is why we feel that it is not appropriate to use our website to discuss the detail of our highly specialist work. What we do wish to provide the reader with is a summary of what benefits can be achieved with our work at such a difficult and emotional time and provide the family with the comfort in the knowledge that their loved one is being cared for with the same dignity during their remaining days before their funeral that they were accustomed to in their life.

Mortuary Services provides its high level of service in main to the south west Wales region however should our Service be required by Funeral Directors beyond our current area then this can be accommodated subject to agreement.

Mortuary Services is very fortunate in that it also has an in-house professional Health, Safety and Environmental advisory capability that can be offered to other professional Embalmers and Funeral Directors, please see further details please see our services page.

Over the course of his career as an embalmer and reconstructive specialist Dorian Harries of Carmarthenshire, West Wales has become a well-known name and face in the field of serving Funeral Directors and their families.
